A Civil organization of owners of houses (OSMD) of Czech Republic did not agree with the new conception of public housing, which the Government had taken a week ago. Conversely, the Association of tenants (SON) has a full solidarity with such a document. These views were heard in the statements of the both commonwealths. The new state concept primarily aims to support the construction of rented premises.
“New conception repeats the past mistakes: wasting of budgetary funds, supporting for riches and not for destitute, leading to financial crisis in market of residences, supporting the corruption and wasting of funds at the new construction projects,” – said press secretary OSMD Aneta Chervenkova.
Conversely, backlash reaction to the new concept was in Association of tenants. «SON welcomes the adoption of the conception, we assessed the shift in favor of rental accommodation, as well as offers to develop affordable housing for young families and support for tenants-pensioners”, – said chairman Milan Taraba.
One of the reasons for the adoption of a new concept, according to the Ministry of Local Development, is the financial instability of the currently used system. Subsidies should be replaced by low-percent credits, which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the budget.
